**This is a full-time onsite position at our office in Roxanna, IL**
SUMMARY:
The Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative will interface with internal departments, manufacturing representatives and distributors, and vendors to ensure timeliness of orders, prompt response to all inquiries, job tracing, updates on products, assistance in promotion and marketing efforts, and order fulfillment. They will actively work with the other CSRs and the General Manager to support the customer service, sales and marketing activities and initiatives of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service and Sales responsibilities
- Accurate order entry of all jobs sent via email, phone, fax, verbal, or mail.
- Maintain documentation of client files.
- Answer incoming calls or emails for customer questions.
- Order Processing.
- Process return requests for credit or replacement.
- Prepare customer complaints/notes and provide follow up.
Marketing responsibilities
- Execute direct mail and email campaigns to customers.
- Assist with digital marketing.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to increase sales.
- Coordinate marketing vendors and preferred suppliers, when required.
- Assist with the company website (upload photos and other updates).
- Organize the logistics of trade shows.
Administrative responsibilities
- Call customers for collection of accounts receivables.
- Processing payment via credit card.
- Manage the inventory and fulfillment operations of "customer stores".
- Support sales rep requests: sales reports, shipping history, price lists, contracts, mail outs, sample requests.
CORE SKILLS:
- Ability to successfully and in a composed manner address customer satisfaction issues.
- Ability to build credibility and trust by understanding customer requirements and addressing their needs.
- Efficient, organized, detail oriented, and able to complete task in time sensitive manner.
- Self-directed with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills, with customer service focused attitude.
- Positive attitude with high integrity and pride in work.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Goldmine.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School degree required associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service role or sales related experience.
- Solid computer skills (Goldmine CRM, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrated success in completing internal and external customer processes and support that achieves customer satisfaction.
- Desired: experience in the promotional product industry or with selling customized products.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to move products, materials, or documents up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk or navigate fulfillment facilities.
- Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
